Welcome to THE Kings Langley CaRNIVAL
After a great day at this year's Carnival, applications for funds are now open.
The Kings Langley Carnival raises much needed funds for local charities and community groups. From this year's Carnival we will again be supporting The Waterside Centre and The Community Foodbank, but we also have additional funds to distribute. If you are associated with a local organisation which would benefit from Carnival support, please apply submitting the following information:
* The name of the charity, group or cause applying for funds
* In fewer than 200 words, tell us what the money would be used and how that will benefit the organisation & the wider community
* How much money is being requested (we can't guarantee the full amount)
* The name, phone number & role / position of the person applying.
Applications need to be submitted by midday on Monday 1st September 2025. We have limited funds to distribute and will prioritise projects or activities that will benefit the local (to Kings Langley) community.
Successful applicants will be notified by 10th September and will be requested to attend the Carnival's presentation evening (date TBC) and talk about their organisation and receive funds.

Can you help us?
Can you give us half an hour of your time to help on Carnival day?
We are looking for helpers for:
* The morning to help set up the common (constructing gazebo's, moving bins, helping stall holders etc)
* During the Carnival selling raffle tickets or helping in the Community Corner
* End of the day (bringing the bins back, dismantling gazebo's etc)
If we can get a small army of helpers, all these jobs will become very light work.

We would love to thank all our HALF HOUR HEROES that helped this year. Their help was invaluable and was a vital part of helping the day run so smoothly. Also thanks to those who couldn’t help this year- we will be in touch soon about helping at next year’s event.

We encourage everyone to walk to the carnival if they are able to. There is limited disabled parking available on a first come basis. This year we have secured car parking at the former Steiner school. Our marshals will direct you and we do request a voluntary donation for parking there.
